Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup milk (or water)
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
- Toppings: Berries, bananas, nuts, seeds, nut butter
Instructions
- Boil: Bring milk (or water) and salt to a boil in a small saucepan.
- Simmer: Stir in oats and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Sweeten: Remove from heat and stir in maple syrup or honey.
- Top: Pour into a bowl and add your favorite toppings.
