Oatmeal Bowl

Hearty, healthy, and customizable.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk (or water)
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
  • Toppings: Berries, bananas, nuts, seeds, nut butter

Instructions

  1. Boil: Bring milk (or water) and salt to a boil in a small saucepan.
  2. Simmer: Stir in oats and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Sweeten: Remove from heat and stir in maple syrup or honey.
  4. Top: Pour into a bowl and add your favorite toppings.
  5. Serve: Enjoy warm!
