Grilled Cheese

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of sourdough or white bread
  • 2 slices of sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 slice of gruyere or swiss cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter, room temperature
  • Optional: Tomato soup for dipping

Instructions

  1. Butter: Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Assemble: Place one slice butter-side down in a skillet. Top with cheese and the other slice of bread (butter-side up).
  3. Cook: Cook on medium-low heat until golden brown and crispy (about 3-4 minutes).
  4. Flip: Carefully flip and cook the other side until the cheese is melted.
  5. Serve: Cut in half diagonally and serve with tomato soup.
