Avocado Toast

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of sourdough bread
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes
  • Sea salt and black pepper
  • Optional: Poached egg or cherry tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Toast the bread: Toast your sourdough slices until golden brown and crispy.
  2. Mash the avocado: In a small bowl, mash the avocado with lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Assemble: Spread the mashed avocado generously over the toasted bread.
  4. Garnish: Sprinkle with red pepper flakes and extra sea salt. Top with optional ingredients if desired.
  5. Serve: Enjoy immediately while the toast is warm!
